Happy New Year, among other things

What's up everyone? El Duster here to welcome you a Happy Frickin New Year, a few hours early. Josh and I will be celebrating OG style, by rocking out at a dredg show over at the Roxy in LA. dredg is one of our favorite bands, so this will be a treat indeed.

Pre-production is finished for the new album. I'd tell you the title, but then I'd have to kill you. And killing our fans isn't exactly the best marketing campaign, know what I mean?

I start tracking drums Jan 2, at Paramount Studios. We're all really anxious to get this thing underway - we've been practicing, rehearsing, nit-picking, practicing more - we're chomping at the bit to finally record this thing and get out on tour.

Which reminds me, if you want us to play a show in your hometown, drop us a line (jay@sanctionband.com) and tell us what's up. There are still dates available for our spring tour, so don't be shy :)

Happy New Year, be safe, and don't forget to floss.

See y'all next year.

NACA PHOTOS! (finally, i know)

You amazing people! Sorry this took so long, but here you go. Thanks to everyone we met. NACA was awesome, and we're really amped on coming through your schools and hanging out with y'all.

Our new friend Tim sent us these from the NACA Northeast Showcase

And of course the real NACA fun was at the Best Western up the street right? ;)

the joys continue

Hello happy people!

Pre-production for the still as-yet-untitled album is going very smoothly. We are putting the finishing touches on two songs, and will start recording scratch tracks next week.

Our deepest apologies for the cancelled show Dec 6. The venue pulled the plug, and we are hoping to make it up to y’all in January, time permitting. You may have heard or seen our recently finished music video for Damn You. The Dragonfly show was intended to be our official video viewing party, so we will be pushing that back as well.

Everyone send good vibes Josh’s way – he has been working toward a bachelor’s degree in music, and his final jury is Dec 15. If he passes, the degree is his. Wish him luck if you get a chance. He’s a badass, and we know he’s going to rock it.

We still have plenty of open tour dates available, so if you want us to play in your town, drop us a line. We don’t want to leave anyone out!

Remember kids; you have five fingers, not four. Don’t forget to wash your thumbs!
